Terms of Service
Effective date: 17 June 2026 · Last updated: 17 June 2026
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at numberpii.com (the "Website"), operated by NUMBER PII LTD ("Number Pii", "we", "our", "us"), and your contact with us about our development and consultancy services. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
- Company: NUMBER PII LTD
- Company number: 17123617 (registered in England and Wales)
- Registered office: 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom
- Contact: legal@numberpii.com
2. Scope
These Terms apply to the Website and to enquiries you send us through it. Our software products, including Thirty X and CalyPad, and any paid engagement for development or consultancy services, are governed by their own separate agreements. Where a separate signed agreement or statement of work covers a service, that agreement takes precedence over these Terms for that service.
3. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown above. Your continued use of the Website after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
4. Using the Website
You may use the Website for lawful purposes and to learn about and contact us regarding our products and services. You agree not to:
- use the Website in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation
- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through the enquiry form
- send spam, automated submissions, or other unsolicited content
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, or disrupt the Website or its infrastructure
- introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material
- copy, scrape, or reuse Website content except as permitted in section 5
We may suspend or restrict access to the Website if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Website and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos, and code, are owned by or licensed to Number Pii and are protected by intellectual property laws. "Number Pii", "Thirty X", and "CalyPad", together with related logos, are our trademarks or those of our group.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and use the Website for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Website content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
6. Enquiries, consultations, and services
The enquiry form lets you tell us about your project and request a consultation. Submitting the form, and any consultation that follows, does not create a binding contract for services or a commitment by either of us to proceed.
Any quotes, estimates, timelines, or proposals we share are indicative and are not binding unless and until they are set out in a written agreement or statement of work signed or otherwise accepted by both of us. That agreement, not these Terms, will govern the scope, fees, deliverables, and other terms of the work.
Information on the Website about our products and services is for general guidance and may change. It does not amount to a promise that a particular product, feature, or outcome will be available to you.
7. Third-party links and services
The Website may link to third-party websites and services, including our product sites and providers we work with. We provide these links for convenience and do not control or endorse those third parties. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
8. Availability of the Website
We aim to keep the Website available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We may change, suspend, or withdraw all or part of the Website at any time without notice, for example for maintenance or for operational reasons.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties, and conditions that are not expressly set out in these Terms, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty that the Website is accurate, complete, fit for a particular purpose, or free of viruses or harmful components. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you have that cannot be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Website. Our total liability to you in connection with the Website is limited to 100 pounds sterling. Liability arising from a paid service engagement is dealt with in the relevant separate agreement, not in these Terms.
11. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for, and to reimburse us for, any reasonable losses, costs, and claims we suffer that arise from your misuse of the Website or your breach of these Terms.
12. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your use of the Website.
13. General
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Website.
- Severability: if any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.
- Waiver: if we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: you may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a business reorganisation, sale, or transfer.
- Third parties: no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your home jurisdiction.
